Common C.MI. Program Registration Questions
Q) It has been more than an hour since I have submitted my online application and I have not yet received a confirmation e-mail. What's wrong?
A) Usually, your confirmation e-mail will arrive within a few minutes after submitting your online application. If it does not, one of the following may have occurred: 1) You may have entered an incorrect e-mail address on your application. 2) There may be extra heavy congestion on the Internet, which may have delayed the message. 3) Your mail security settings may be set to filter messages from addresses not on your "safe-list".
In any case, if you have not received your confirmation e-mail within one-to-two hours of submitting your online course application, please contact the Online Administration Office by e-mail as soon as possible: cmi@stephenrinaldi.com - Please make certain to include your name, e-mail address and course(s) applied for within the body of your message. A new confirmation will be sent to you.
Q) Do I have to wait to be "officially" accepted into the program after I submit my application and course tuition?
A) Acceptance for the CMI program is automatic, provided that the course application has been completed fully and accurately - and that the applicant has met all prerequisites and requirements outlined on the application form. Acceptance, however, does not guarantee certification. The C.MI. Program is a graded course and requires that the student complete and pass all components of the program in order to receive the certificate. It is the responsibility of the incoming student to assess their ability to successfully complete the course of study for which they are registering.
Q) How soon can I begin the program after submitting my application and tuition payment?
A) New C.MI students can technically begin the course within 24 hours of receipt of the application form and course tuition. Your student account for the online campus system will also be created and sent to you by e-mail within that 24-hour period. Students are responsible for purchasing the two required course text books. These books are available from Amazon.Com for approximately $11 each, plus shipping. Shipping time varies depending on the option you choose. The books may also be available at your local bookstore, or local library.
Q) Can I pay my course tuition by Bank Wire?
A) Bank Wire payments are no longer accepted as a form of payment for online courses. This is due to the increase in international bank fraud and lack of security provided by many financial institutions. We apologize for any inconvenience this new policy may cause. As an alternative, we have partnered with PayPal, which allows incoming students in many countries around the world to send funds without the need for a credit card. Please ask for more details.
Q) What is the refund and/or withdrawal policy for the C.MI course?
A) Upon receipt of your tuition payment and course application, you are considered to be officially enrolled in the program. Should you decide to withdraw from the program within the first three (3) days of your tuition payment, a full refund will be given, less a $50.00 administration fee. Withdrawals between 3 and 7 days will receive a 75% refund, less a $50 administration fee. Withdrawals between 7 and 14-days receive a 50% refund, less the $50 administration fee. After that point, no refunds will be given.
Those choosing one of our available installment plan options will have terms and conditions that differ from those above. Please review the specific terms for your selected payment method.
Please note that no refunds are given for any course books purchased through third-party vendors.
